Jianshan Scenic Lookout

I have hiked at Guanyin Mountain many times.  Most of the time I start at the visitor center and hike to the Yinghan Peak.  Yinghan Peak is the tallest peak and it has a great view of Bali and Dansui.  Today I hiked to the Jianshan Scenic Lookout which also has a great view.

I started and finished at the Lingyun Zen Temple.  Looking at the temple facing the mountain I started the hike to going to the left of the temple and made a clockwise loop back to the temple.  Going to the scenic outlook was much more difficult than coming back.  One way is sidewalk and steps the other way includes a long stretch that is a natural path.  The natural path has some challenging elevation changes but there are ropes for help.
