Emei Lake

Emei Lake is in Hsinchu County.  I went there as a side trip from Lion Mountain.  It is one of several things that can be seen in that area.  You can’t help but notice the large Temple with the huge Buddha.  I would have loved to visit the temple, which you can, but Tuesday – Friday you need a reservation and a party of at least 15.  I suggest going on the weekend.  The lake is scenic and peaceful.  It is possible to get there by public transportation but not easy.
