Yangmingshuwu

Yangmingshuwu is located in Yangmingshan Park.  If you are standing at the flower clock and follow the road it is about a 30 minute walk.  Yangmingshuwu is a fortress mansion that Chiang Kai-Shek lived in for a couple of years.  It is green in color to blend in with the scenery.   To see it you must be part of a tour.  Tours are given twice a day at 9:30 and 1:30.  The cost is 80 NTD.   The tour that I was on lasted over 1.5 hours and was in Chinese.  Some people on the tour translated a little for me so I knew what was going on.  Tours depart from the Yangmingshuwu Visitor Center.

You can take photos outside the house but not inside.  I was told that after I took one photo so I will share that and a few other photos.  I have been to Yangmingshan Park many times but this was my first time to Yangmingshuwu, it is easy to miss but certainly worth seeing.
