Linkou Night Life

This post is intended more as a statement than a review.  The statement is that now it is possible to hear live music in Linkou in a lounge / restaurant setting.  The name of the place is Drummer.  They opened about a month ago and are calling themselves a live band house.

Drummer is located on Wenhua 2 near Xinyi Rd.  It may be easy to miss because it occupies the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building that is above a grocery store on the 1st floor.  They open at 5pm and have live music on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8pm to 9:45pm.  It is a very English friendly place.  The menu includes a selection of creative hamburgers as well as other options.  I ordered the peanut butter hamburger and it was a meal, wow, big.  When I saw the size and peanut butter oozing out I wondered how many calories it was.  It also came with fries.

They add a 10% service fee to the bill but I will have to say that the service was good.  I am low maintenance but one member of my party was a little demanding and the serving staff accommodated her requests.
